There’s always a reason to celebrate in New Orleans
and what better way to celebrate than to go to one of the many festivals taking place throughout the year in New Orleans. There are so much to choose from.
- Experience the magic of the season in a city steeped in traditions of the past, but with the food, music and good times of today at the Christmas New Orleans Style from 01st December to 31st December.
- Celebrate a time honoured Louisiana tradition-the lighting of the bonfires on the banks of the Mississippi at the Bonfire Adventure on the 24th December.
- Regional folk artists and environmental groups help show how individuals can help save our precious environment at the Earth Fest on 17th & 18th March, there are children’s activities such as making stick snakes and walking through a life-sized board game.
The 38th Anniversary New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival celebrates more than 4,000 talented musicians, cooks and crafts people coming together to share their unique cultures and heritage held at the Fair Grounds and throughout the city. This takes place between 27th April and 6th May.
- If wine and food is more your thing then the New Orleans Wine and Food Experience from 23 – 27th May is for you. This fantastic, five-day feast features wines from around the world and the best of New Orleans' culinary culture. Events include seminars, Grand Tastings, Brunch & the Royal Street Stroll.
