Kirsty and Jody have over 30 years of travel industry experience between them. Their hard work within the UK and Irish markets has continued to build awareness and strengthen the reputation of their US destinations. In addition, they have become fully involved with the Visit USA Association since taking control of Travel & Tourism Marketing.
Together Jody and Kirsty oversee the smooth running and continued development of their individual accounts including; planning and leading fam trips, representation at trade and consumer shows, conducting training sessions and hosting sales missions and media functions along with the rest of the T&TM team.
Jody's career spans over 20 years and encompasses most aspects of the travel industry, particularly sales and marketing roles. She has gained wide experience and developed excellent contacts and a well-respected reputation. Jody's role covers all aspects of sales and representation project work, in particular development and management of the sales call programme to leisure and C&I contacts.
Kirsty has been in the travel industry for around 10 years and has always specialised in PR and Marketing. Kirsty liases with tour operators, retail agents, airlines and the media in order to enhance T&TM's client's coverage and image. Kirsty covers the whole spectrum of representation work, specialising in public relations and marketing campaigns.
Both Kirsty and Jody attend the regular VUSA meetings and are members of several committees within the VUSA Association: Visit USA Board: Jody (Board Member) Familiarisation Trip Committee: Jody (Chairperson) Kirsty ( Member) PR & Marketing Committee: Jody (Member) Kirsty (Member)The Visit USA Association works in conjunction with its members to promote tourism to the USA through training, PR, consumer advertising and trade awareness.
